The Enchanting Empowerment of Self Love

Do you know someone who has struggled with depression or anxiety?
The sad fact is most of us can say yes. We may not be so quick to admit that we have also struggled as an individual.  
I am grounded in my journey, in my confidence in raising my sons, my relationships and building a thriving business built on empowering self expression. I believe in my dreams, and know nothing anyone says or does will sway me away from this solidarity within me. This wasn't always the case, this happened because I went through struggle and pain, choosing to break the cycle and take responsibility for my own life. 
Until recent shifts, mental health, and emotional expression was regarded as weakness. The world we have lived within whether it is within our family, or society, has been one of self loathing conditioning. 
I was in this cycle too for most of my life. 
Living in this way is guaranteed to cultivate toxic relationships, behaviours, and patterns of coping in every area of our lives, keeping us stuck in suffering, and fear. 
We have been constantly fed illusions of not being good enough, and engaging in a toxic cycles of trying to be more, be better, be accepted, be loved, be compared to, be seen, and be heard by others. It's everywhere we look if we pay attention, online, on screen, and in real life too. 
Any effort spent in this dynamic will never bring acceptance, joy, satisfaction, peace, or love because we are desperately trying to fit into a lens of what we think others want. When we live this way, we end up having all our passionate, vibrant life force energy sucked out of us. We are left feeling l completely drained, we want to escape, we feel like we don't fit in. We struggle with thoughts of comparing ourselves, and telling ourselves we are not as good as who we are comparing ourselves to, we realize no matter how hard we have been trying we are never satisfying our parents, partners, bosses, children, the world, etc. 
Until you are ready to decide to put in the work to change how you see and feel about yourself, for yourself you will always be lost in suffering.
Own your own life, nobody is coming to rescue you, nobody is making choices for you. You are given this life to make it what you desire. You and you alone. You don't owe anyone anything, but to be your authentic self. 
If you feel you have to act, look, or do anything to be accepted by another then you are not living. If your authenticity is not received with loving acceptance, any amount of effort spent in this people pleasing dynamic will be futile for you.
Remind yourself; Your happiness is the most important thing ever! You do not need to spend one second more of trying to convince anyone of your worth. It doesn't matter if this is your Mother, your Father, your sister, your brother, your best friend, your partner, your child, and the list goes on, whoever is not accepting who you are, is not worth your energy. 
This is easier said than done, and can cause you great discomfort & grief. The reason for this discomfort is it forces you to break free from the false reality of living in a way someone else dictates for you, or you decide to settle for living in suffering. Allow yourself to grieve the relationship, grieve the acceptance, and grieve the love you now realize you can never find within this dynamic. 
Take all the time you need to process, to find your footing, and to rise again. 
You are not alone. 
There are people like me you will encounter who are ready with open arms, an open mind, and heart to offer support and love. They will build you up, they will empower you! 
Falling in love with yourself is the furthest thing from selfish. 
Falling in love with yourself, your journey, your timing is EMPOWERMENT!
The secrets to breaking free and empowering yourself are within you. I am here to help you remember. 
I created this series, with passion as I wanted to offer an easier way for women (and men) to navigate their healing journey to self love, and empowerment. 
I wanted it to be easier for others than it was for me. I knew the way it seems is not the way it has to be. 
You are free to have, to be, and become all your heart knows.
